I create surreal comedy-dramas, often featuring colorful, sardonic characters. These hopeful stories commonly explore themes related to nostalgia, connection, and our relationships to the passage of time. The greatest influences on my work are Charlie Kaufman, Coen Brothers, Richard Linklater, and the comedy stylings of Danny McBride.
Born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio, I graduated from Ohio State with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies with minors in History, International Studies, Video Art, and Media Analysis. Currently, I am a MFA film candidate with the Ohio University School of Film program.
